Our server, Griselda was great!! Very nice and friendly. Kept checking on us to see if we needed anything. I will go back just for the excellent service we received from her. Oh yes, our taco dish was very tasty 😄
Great place to get a quick bite. The food is great. The service is even bettter. At the end of the meal she bought a Mexican pastry and I quickly gobbled it up.
All in all, La Torta is a solid find good food, good value, and pleasant service. I’d come back, especially when I’m craving something tasty and unpretentious.
First time here very good good food unfortunately they use a lot of salt on their food making it hard to enjoy. Service was amazing just cut down on the salt plz every thing I ate was salty everything.
A good place to eat variety of Mexican food!!! Salsa and chips are good!! Almost 20$ for the plenty of food and drinks! Girls are really nice and friendly. Quick service!!! In rush must go coz doesn’t take long!
If you're craving real Mexican food, this is the spot to go. My family and I love their carnitas, or adobada tortas (sandwiches), they have more meat choices like beef asada, and chicken. They also have a small buffet bar with comfort food like meatballs or lentil soups, chile verde, cheese stuffed poblano peppers, rice, refried beans, etc. The dine-in is always neat.
The worse $20 lunch! Taco and burrito was not separated from the enchilada. Both taco and burrito was engulfed in enchilada sauce. Asada meat had lots of nerve. First time trying this place & last.
La Torta has a lunch buffet between 11am and 2pm. The food was hot and presented well. The service is a little slow and we had to wait for tortillas and napkins. But other than that the food was delicious. The chile rellenos were great, the carnitas were crispy and just right, the enchiladas yummy, the Chile verde just right and on and on. I highly recommend this place for lunch. But get there at 11am because it does get busy around 12:30 for the downtown lunch crowd.
